Mike,
	Thanks for the reminder. By this criteria alone it is poly, however,
I have mixed black with the poly and so this is not always the acid test
proving poly. In this case the piano is mahogany and the chip that came off
with the WAY TOO BIG headed fallboard screws was clear. Thanks again!

    From the polyester finishing classes from Ruth Phillips:  File off a bit

of the finish from a hidden spot.  If the filings are clear and transparent,

it is poly.  If they are colored and match the color of the piano it is not.
