It may be better for some people than others. Just to see how it would do for me, I entered the info for my car... 2004 VW Jetta TDI And since I'm faliliar, I picked "timing belt". Results: $344 to $478 I just did this job myself. The parts will cost close to $300 to do the job right. It'll take a good mechanic close to 4 hours start to finish. Double the estimate and it may be close. For other cars, it might get closer to real world prices. FWIW...
