The bag cost $850 and the pump was free from a friend of mine. I wanted it anyway for other projects so that's kind of a non issue. A one trick pony in a firehose clamp is something of another matter though. I have something around $250-$275 in my five clamp set, and time. What does a vacuum pump and bag big enough to do as big a piano as you're likely to get cost? Ron N
