[pianotech] cents: Nights in White Satin OT

If you want a real bad out of tune piano on a tuning, listen to New York State Of Mind by Billy Joel. I don't think it was planned that way because it is not consistent.

That doesn't mean that I have no soft spot in my heart for studio tuners. You can do your best in the morning and after hours of banging, they get there take, but your tuning is out the window.

    greetings,

is it just me or does the string section in the instrumental portion of the recording nights in white satin sound a few cents off from the other orchestration and this song's vocals?

i hear it in other rock songs too... anyone?
