[pianotech] Tuning in climate changes

By all means purchase the fabric on your own and cut to size. That much
effort is very much worth it. We've all tried to clean below the strings.
IMHO, it's better if the dirt never got there in the first place.

I also rarely sell them, but I've come across old pianos with the wool
covers stretched across the plate attached to hooks imbedded in the case via
grommets and the plate/soundboard was pristine...
