i agree with that now, but i didn't have the flanges i needed and wasn't planning on making another order before returning to the site, 



So I presume that you will be placing an order fo a dozen of each type of damper flanges, the next time you place an order?

Unless this is a very unusual damper flange, the best way to fix it is to replace the whole flange with a new one. You should keep an assortment of different kinds of flanges on hand at all times.
