Hey, after this year's Christmas blizzard we had pictures of people here in
South Dakota with snow most of the way up their doors, but we didn't leave
the windows open!

Hmm... real winter...

My friend Andrei Nikolayevich Shafourin is an English teacher in
Comprehensive School Number 17, Nizhnevartovsk, Siberia. He sent me
these pictures this afternoon, of his window. Last winter he texted me
one day to say things had warmed up: from -45F to -17F! (-43C to -27C).

Best,

David Boyce.
