Two suggestions Les:

 

1.	Make sure your anti-virus is up to date and do a thorough scan on
your system (Outlook is a favorite target for cyber no-goodniks)

 

2.	Backup your folders and re-install Outlook, it may be corrupted

Hi Les

 

Along the top on the menu bar 

 

click on;- View, 

 

then click on:- Reading Pane,  

 

you have three options, Top, Bottom, Off, 

 

click on:- Bottom

 

To find the list of folders there is a arrow top left hand corner of where
the folder pane should be, 

 

to expand & collapse the folder page, 

 

click on the:- arrow to open up the folder pane.

 

This works for me, I hope it works for you.
