Hi Jim,

Nice website.

I'm looking into copyright issues at the moment, and I'm curious to know
what copyright issues, if any, you might have come across with regards to
selling your versions of the pieces in your Audio CD collection? Are you
concerned about infringement violations being levelled against you?

Cheers,

Bruce Gibson

acceptable?"\

Ron,
Because the population is well on the way to being totally DEAF! Especially,
Music Teachers! Have you ever been in a band/choir room at your local H.S.
when they're "hard at it"??? I suspect the teacher has a hearing impairment
from years of teaching the little darlings.<G> Real glad I didn't go that
route back then!!
Best Regards,
Joe

Atlas doesn't list it"

Chuck,
It kinda/sorta does. If you read all the info under Jewett, it would have
sent you to Steinert. That in turn directs you to Mathusheck. It appears to
be from the WWII era. Not listed per se, but probably when it was conceived.

If you can't get "musical", go for pain. Seems a shame that so
few apparently appreciate the difference. As to band/choir
teachers, I used to wonder why so many piano tuners were
retired band teachers, and then it struck me. After all those
years, they were so desperate to hear something - anything, in
tune...

Hi All, this posting is to notify readersof the opportunity the help a
family and yourselves out simultaneously. Late PTG member Russell Kempa
passed away a couple of years back and his widow is trying to deal with the
small shop he left behind. The is a "Schumacher" grand disassembled, a
Rockwell/Delta radial drill press, too numerous to detail assorted parts and
supplies, felts, players piano parts, ivories, complete sets of hammers,
pin, etc, etc, etc... you get the picture. He way very organized having
most of his collection labeled. The widow would prefer to have someone come
and collect the entire project in mass. They are planing an selling and
moving. Please contact me though email or phone (719-635-1472). I'll
handle it or probably give you to the family patriarch to handle further
details.

I told them the PTG brotherhood are a decent bunch. There're not expecting
aloft so please be fair.

Jim,

Very nice web site, beautiful colors and graphics. My only comment is I
don't like that your text boxes show so little text, requiring a lot of
scrolling to read on, or to re-read something. This is not a big deal, just
being picky. Overall I think it's awesome.

Subject: [pianotech] Website Launch

Launched my website about a month ago. We finally got it up and running
on all the browsers. Its been a long but highly instructive haul...The
writing, re-writing, re-re-writing, re-re-re-re-re-writing of the
presentation, combined with the organization that we struggled to
create, took my ideas and really clarified them for me.

I tried taking a slightly different approach to the "sell"...hope it works.

Now we get to futz with the optimization...

My thanks to you all for your advice and your comments.
I was there yesterday to refresh myself on the tone of the piano, fix a
sluggish key and to reassure him that all would be taken care of.
It really is a mellow sounding little piano and I feel it's a shame to do
anything to it. I believe I will try some weight and filing to start.
I had already talked to him about
www.Adapt-A-Stand.com<http://www.adapt-a-stand.com/> since
Ken is a member of our chapter.
.

He did tell me that the students in the back row, in his large choirs are
having trouble hearing the piano so I guess it's not just him.

Updates will follow, thanks again,

Mike
