Terry the last time I got my bank to do a transfer to another currency it
cost me about AUS 30.00 for a $150.00 purchase in USA ;-(

The Paypal option is definitely the cheapest and safest.

Thanks Wim. That may be the best route. I did that once some years ago, but
had forgot about it.

Why not have the rebuilder send a transfer to your account from his bank?
I'm sure his country's bank should be able to handle a transaction like
that. (Let the banks talk to each other. You don't have to give your
checking account number to the guy). What ever fees there are, get
reimbursed.

I'm selling a bunch of belly components to a rebuilder overseas. PayPal sure
would be an easy way of collecting payment. Does anyone know whether PayPal
charges for a payment? I'm have a basic, no frills PayPal account. Thanks!
