Patrick and List,

This morning I spent an hour on the phone with Dave Swartz. Here is a
brief summary of what I learned about his research in smoke damage to
pianos.

Dave Swartz now owns Cory Products. He has never stopped researching,
testing and developing techniques for dealing with smoke damaged pianos.

He is in the final stages of producing a complete line of cleaning
products and procedures for dealing with smoke damage that he will
display at the 2011 National
Convention in Kansas City.

He will also be giving a class on this subject at the
Southeastern Regional Conference in Charlotte, NC in October of 2011,
where he will be displaying these new products as well.

Dave has sent his updated information to the Home Office.
Ron Berry will update the website soon.

I'm excited about these developments in the area, and I thank you for
your responses and interest in
clear procedures that will benefit all.

Best,
John Parham
