"Just
 call to thank you for the superb job you did on our piano yesterday;
t really was a joy to play last night".

Goes to show you that sometimes it's the little things you do that are appreciated more than tuning the piano.

  My cellphone rang as I was driving today, so I couldn't answer. The
aller left a message. It was the husband who booked the tuning
esterday of the squeaky/crealy pedal piano. He left this message: "Just
 call to thank you for the superb job you did on our piano yesterday;
t really was a joy to play last night". Salutory, somehow, because
lthough in tune, at pitch, and with now-quiet pedals, it's not an
nstrument that in its present condition could really be considered
oyful. But, all those years of being resigned to a noisy pedal! For
hame!
Best regards,
David Boyce.
