A screwdriver works if the screw head is not stripped. Originally with those Yamahas you didn't need a screwdriver as they used a "thumbscrew" wing screw type thingee. But it is still a lousy system; there are much better designs on most pianos. Some unclip, some slip into notches and grooves and some just tilt backwards for access.
