The amount of work required for regulation varies so it's difficult to quote an exact price complete. If someone previous to you has tried to compensate for the expanding brackets by regulating you may need more work to put it back. If not then you may need less but it's hard to tell in advance. You simply tell them that replacing the brackets will likely require additional regulation. YC will reimburse you whatever amount and they are responsible for the rest. If they don't want to do that then don't do the job. It's not your problem, it's theirs. You're just there to do the best you can to assist them with their problem. David Love www.davidlovepianos.com How in the heck do you get a customer to pay for a complete regulation in this situation? Young Chang pays you $200, but that is pocket change compared to a complete regulation/repairs, etc. ***TODD PIANO WORKS* Matthew Todd, Piano Technician (979) 248-9578 http://www.toddpianoworks.com
