[pianotech] Converting Acoustic uprights to Digital

Wim,
Unless they went out in the last couple of days, they are alive and healthy (as anyone can be in this economy). They make the old piano rolls as well as CDs, DVDs, and now the Memory Flash Drives for the player systems. The dealer I do work for here in St. Louis has both QRS and PianoDisk units on the floor.

I thought QRS went out of business.

Hi, Ken:

I believe that QRS has a kit to install in old pianos that makes
them a digital keyboard. I'll confirm it with my QRS installer.

Since most of you all work on acoustic types you may not be able to help. In

1997 I saw a company at the annual Insititute and convention that had a
digital kit to continue the life of a georgous cabinet that was "dead" on
the inside. Are any of you familiar with this or a similar company supplying

electronic/digital conversions?

Thanks,
Ken Gerler
