"Why won't people learn to hire one of us to check out any used piano they get?" Don't know. I just went to tune a new-to-them piano a week or so ago - lady said it was a nice piano bought from a nice Christian lady (so she knew it was nice) and all it needed was a tuning and tighten the front leg. Nothing to tighten the front leg to - entire keybed was eaten by termites - as well as most of the rest of the piano - what a mess. She tossed the piano. Maybe next time......
