If you lift the hammer up the jack will fall flat on the key. The key can then be raised up off the balance rail pin and slid back for access to the rocker screws while you hold the hammer up out of the way. This may not work in the low bass since the keys are too short and the angle too steep for the fallen down jack to clear the let-off button.
