For stripped screws where the hole is too large for a single strip to work, cut the material in an hour-glass fashion. Simply cut a strip which would surround the shank, fold in in half lengthwise and snip the fold to an angle. Apply glue to the hole and push the point into the hole with a small screw driver. Press the sleeve to the sides of the hole with a pointed capstan wrench and insert the screw. Trim excess leather. -- Regards, Jon Page
