JD, for removing the old loop cord, you show the use of an inverted iron on the wool setting, with a few flanges sitting on the soleplate. Is there anything to be said about the idea of using a folded wet cloth and and iron on a hotter setting, pressing the wet cloth onto a group of flanges to steam the old glue soft?
