Day before yesterday I made a new recording of the arpeggio demo that Jim describes. The recording is at: www.kentswafford.com/mp3/arp.mp3 The recording is made in a small theater with a bright, thick-sounding Steinway L with Ronsen hammers and a fresh OnlyPure tuning. Very nice piano. To me, those arpeggios just ooze sonorous, harmonious consonance and purity. Play them back as loudly as your equipment and ears can tolerate. Here is a recording made at the same time on the L. Listen to the held chord at the end: www.kentswafford.com/mp3/PSC.mp3 Yesterday I made a short recording of a Bosendorfer Imperial as I was finishing another tuning with OnlyPure. Again listen to the held chords: www.kentswafford.com/mp3/flo.mp3 Kent Swafford On Jul 24, 2009, at 10:18 PM, Jim Busby wrote: > Hi Ron, > > No I didn't play it, and I only heard chromatic major chords all the > way up.
