David, I take care of one Baldwin 6000. I am not particularly enamored of it, but the owners are, and I've heard praise from others on this list for other 6000s. Sounds like you've got a good one, which I believe to be substantially better than any of the other uprights mentioned in your post. I'm assuming they're Yamahas: M475 (Height:44" Width: 58" / Depth: 25") at $3180 - (discontinued model on sale) - M560S (Height:44" Width: 58" / Depth: 25") at $3895 - Used P22 (Height:45" Width: 58" / Depth: 25") at $ $2888 I'm not familiar with this end of the market. Are these prices in the ballpark for a store? Where are these pianos made? China? Indonesia? A student of a teacher of mine wants a piano; I've got a 10-year-old Baldwin 6000 in showroom condition---their biggest, most expensive upright; sounds and feels great, for $5K. Do these pianos even come close to the Baldwin? Thanks; your knowledgeable replies are appreciated. David Andersen = -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
