I tuned it for her about a year ago for the first time and noticed it needed some regulation, hammer shaping and alignment and a few keys needed re-bushing. I also suggested a Dampp-Chaser system. I asked how old it was and was shocked to learn it was over 40 years old, I had surmised it was perhaps 20 or so. It had never been regulated or the hammers re-shaped she was the original owner. We installed the DC and I shaped hammers, aligned them and regulated it and it was a fine piano and she was very pleased. It has that mellow tone one would expect from a well designed german made piano from a company that has been making them for generations. Based on that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one.
