Brian

You can remove the screw, but then you'll have to retune that section. Or you can put on a new string. 6 of one, half dozen of another.

When replacing a broken string on a console, I accidentally threaded the new string under the pressure bar but on the wrong side of one of the screws that hold down the pressure bar.

?

Can I remove the screw and then slide the string over and then replace the screw?
