Ken, Though I suppose it's not a bad practice to slightly depress the keys, on a QRS system it is not necessary so long as the installation was done correctly. When installed, the solenoid plunger has a small amount of space between it's tip and the key bottom at rest. PianoDisc systems are another beast and do require this step every time. William R.
