I find that for pianos more than 75 cents flat, an overpull of 8 cents on wound strings and 14 to 16 cents on plain wire gets me a piano within 20 cents, often closer. If I overpull more than that, I wind up sharp more than I'd like and break strings. Sorry that doesn’t help too much for aural tuning.
