About every 10 years I come across this problem. I remove that damper felt and put a longer piece on, extending about 1/8 inch (or more) beyond the damper head. if you let the glue get tacky first then it will hold the felt in place while you test to find the correct position. --- Tom Gorley ************** A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
