And remember that the measurements you make with the "original" brackets is incorrect, that is why you are getting the new brackets.

  You just need the model and serial # to get the brackets. You should measure the action spread before removing the old ones, just too make sure you get it correct when you put on the new ones.

        Do I need to measure the action spread in order to obtain the right brackets, or will a model and serial number suffice?

          YC will send the action brackets at no charge. But they no longer pay to have them installed.

          I suggest that you charge the customer for the full amount of this repair. I did one two years ago and never got paid anything by Young Chang.
