I bought fire hose, from a local firefighters' supply. It's, I 
think, a polyester weave, urethane coated inside, and about 
150psi rated. My clamps are kept connected to the air supply 
(40psi) all the time they're actually clamping, so I don't 
really know, or really much care if the ends are 100% leak free.
