Bass end "rattle" on S&S "D" Being prepped for Brickman Concert Tomorrow!

Solution by pressing makes one wonder about impedance, does clamping a  
heavy vise grip on to a bridge pin in that region solve the problem?   
If so, you might try adding impedence (drill an appropriate amount of  
brass and screw up to the underside of the bridge).  This involves a  
trade-off, volume- for sustain+.

I'm presuming we're not talking about loose ribs.  You could try  
putting  a little water-thin CA up against the joint (syringe), if it  
wicks in you have a bad glue joint to deal with.

How are the agraffes there?  If they are grooved deeply or loose that  
can add a noise.

Presumably there are no snares, cymbals or bass drums nearby...

Stainless Steel windings on the strings?  Who was the string maker?
