Density of Hammer Mouldings

Depends a bit on the variety of walnut, mahogany...etc you are talking 
about.  That said, you may find the following link helpfull. There are 
many such sites on the web. This in fact was the top of the list on a 
google search using "wood densities" as the search word.  Great tool 
google :)

    Would someone know the densities of the woods used for hammer mouldings
    (cores)? Or maybe the lightest to the heaviest....
     
    Eg: hornbeam, walnut, mahogany, etc...
