Hey Jessica, sounds like the tray has moved a bit....? Lot's of work....

I like to attempt to reduce excessive friction without reaming, if 
possible.....The easy way is to...

  Load up the china bristle brush with Teflon, remove the action, and 
brush on the powder to all of the wires, right below the 
bushings.....(.the powder will make its way around the back of the 
wire, probably by some electric static charge) Then, mechanically push 
a group of the wires up,left, right, to transfer the powder to the 
cloth...then..Test on wire by feel...Is it dragging?

Keep in mind,  I'm from the 'if it moves, it gets Teflon'  school of 
reducing excessive friction....

Another thought on the floor....
A grands three points of floor contact should lessen the stress that 
would effect a 4 footed critter....Unless there is such a radical bow 
as to force the legs apart, thus bowing the bed.
