It is easy enough to make a brass string settling rod. Buy a length of 1/4" brass rod from a welding supply shop, cut to length, and grind the end to shape to fit your combination handle. Alternately, you can get a screwdriver handle and set the rod in permanently. Quite inexpensive and quickly done, actually.
