Stolen tools

Dale, just to say how sorry I am to hear what happened to Dennis. What a
horrible thing to happen, so frustrating and depressing. Oh well, if there
are troughs, there will be peaks! Dennis will be cut up about it I am
sure.

Years ago I had a narrow escape. A neighbour knocked on my door in the
morning. He had retrieved my toolcase and its scattered contents from
neighbouring gardens. I had inadvertantly left the boot (trunk) of the car
unlocked overnight and some opportunist had tried it and got my case. I
guess maybe they realised the tools were specialised and tricky to dispose
of, or perhaps it was drunk/drugged kids. Anyway, I was fortunate,
everything was there. But I went pale at the thought of what COULD have
been the outcome. (Needless to say, I NEVER leave the toolcase in the boot
overnight now, locked or not!

Hugs all round,

David.
