Remember when cordless tools first made their appearance? My first cordless/rechargeable drill had something like a 3.2V battery. Then came larger, longer lasting models..5V, 7V, then a 9.9v followed by 12v,14v,15.9v. Now we have 18v and even 24v monsters. Someday someone will come up with one that actually has a 110v AC cord attached right to it!! ;-) Paul E.
