I've done that as well. It does work nicely, though I apply it with a hypo instead of painting. On one hand, it "unnecessarily" uses protek as a wetting agent. On the other, it wastes less Teflon powder in the application. It also seems more focused, and doesn't allow the Teflon powder into the air. William R.
