Hello to All.

The original Dulcitone was made by
Thomas Machell in Scotland in the late
1800s.

It has a nice sound, as the tuning forks
are mounted into the soundboard.

The legs fold under and the single pedal
operates dampers connected to the case
and action by a string. The action is a
fairly simple one.

I am working on getting one of these very
unique musical instruments for display in
our Museum for the 2011 Convention

  Wish me luck.
