buying old ivory

Does anyone have a guideline for buying ivories from a private party who has
an old piano? Do you charge per key?

The set of ivories is not complete, nor are they all intact. That's why I
am asking about buying by the piece.

Is $.50 per key out of line? Is $.25 or $.30 more reasonable. How
about a range??
