MessageMy meager contribution to this thread is, no matter how you transport an upright or grand or player stack is DO NOT EVER, EVER, AND I REPEAT, EVER, LET THEM GET WET!!!! Several years ago, after rebuilding literally thousands of actions, I was dog tired one evening and left an upright action, in the back of my truck, for the first time, and guess what? Yep, on a cloudless night, full moon even, it rained, and a simple minor repair job immediately turned into the rebuild job from lower hades. To this day, I have regretted my folly and pass this on to those who may have occasion to heed. So, here's to whosover will....

ps...to those of you on list whom I know and love, if your ever in Bunkie, Louisiana, I'd love to have you come by and stay at my hotel and spend some time visiting and reminescing as I miss seeing ya'll at the seminars and schools where we had occasion to meet. Those of you just passing through, even if we've never me, I'd love to meet you as well, "Come and fall in love with Louisiana all over again"

Thanks for digging that up Scott. I looked but couldn't find my old pictures.

Marc - if you are interested in doing something like this, it is simply an used golf cart that I got at Goodwill for $2 and just added two pieces of wood. It's nice because it is very light weight, folds up, and is extremely stable - you can go up and down narrow stairs with ease with this thing - and I think it has quite an air of professionalism.

If you or anyone wants some better pictures, I'd be happy to send/post them.

BTW, your words are much too kind - I am very humbled......

A picture of you carrying the action would be great (or anyone else that has a grand action readily available).

      Maybe also an upright action.

      Thanks

      Marc Lanthier
