Depending on the length of the key, you get differing key height effect from
stressing the frame. Start conservatively with .010".  Apply lift and 
tap the rail,
if knocking persists turn the bolt a little more then check your height for the
amount to set the next one, it might go to .010 or .020 +.   It was on the ends
of this key frame that it could only take a .010" rise as a little more and the
front rail knocked.
