Numbering keys by hand doesn't make the piano look cheap.?I number my keys between the balance rail and capstan, to make them less visible.

Subject: numbering keys

I am rebuilding a keyboard and want to put new numbers on the keys. The originals numbers were?very dull?and

after I cleaned them and lightly sanded them?they are no longer visible.

I do not want to pencil mark them with numbers as I think this looks cheap so I want to

stamp them. Any methods of stamping keys with ink, or other suggestions?

?
