Just follow my 9-step method ...

1.  Buy the video and book from Yamaha
2.  Watch it once (it's kinda boring but full of good stuff)
3.  Assume that you've learned all you need
4.  Sell the book and video to another tech
5.  Let a couple of years go by
6.  Get three grand regulating jobs at the same time, all with very out-of-spec actions
7.  Ask your brain to recall all the Yamaha steps, tips, and instructions
8.  Realize, uh-oh,  your brain has developed a slow leak somewhere. 
9.  Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
