I don't know why but it never occurred to me to "carve out a channel" for the watering tube in the underside of the keybed! Perhaps because it's a lot more work, ergo time consuming, than using a 1/2" drill bit in my cordless drill and "notching" the top of the kickboard. Mike -- Age is an issue of mind over matter.
