Pedal Lyre question.

Hi all.

A local restaurant has a Kimball Viennese Grand 
with a Damper pedal that's literally hanging by 
a thread inside the pedal box. From what I saw, 
it looks like all plastic parts in there. Is 
there a particular pedal bracket that you would 
recommend for this configuration? I have on hand 
the steel metal brackets with the nylon sleeve. 
I have only ever used them for verticals..not a 
Grand.
