Wow that's really nice of you Tom and thanks so much for the offer! I was just informed that somebody else already bought it! Oh well, I have a lead on a nice Yamaha console; It's for a client who's *finally* taking my advice to move up to a better instrument. She been playing a 50 year old Gulbranson that has more problems than I can mention, plus it takes forever just to get the case parts off to service it! And even though it's a console (direct blow action) you still have to remove ALL the keys in order to reinstall & seat the action properly. A royal pain, not to mention that cumbersome Lyre pedal assemebly. EEEK!

Terry,

            Interesting.
It’s good that Schaff specializes in tools that don’t work and is
not responsible for supplying correct nomenclature to the trade! <G>

            The
Wurlitzer piano service manual—I’m surprised I still have one –
refers to the case parts in question the music desk and in your case the
missing part as the music panel.

            Anyway
we’re all on the same page now

            What
are the dimensions? I have a friend with a piano warehouse who has a bunch of
racks collected from dumpers

            It
may take some finish tinting and new holes through the desk to mount but maybe
I can find one that’s close.

            Best
wishes

            Tom
Driscoll

That's the term schaff uses to
describe them on page 98 of their catalog. Not "rack".
