<< What you you pay for an unrestored 1930s model "S"?   Soundboard is decent 
but needs typical rebuilding, action, refinishing, etc.  Probably a new 
block. >>

The Steinway dealer here recently paid $4,500 for one of these that needed 
everything, including a new soundboard.
