Have you used the Kluge ones? I have found them to be very nice, (but forgot to order them on this job...) -------------- Original message from John Ross <jrpiano at win.eastlink.ca>: -------------- I have noticed that since Schaff changed to a softer plastic, that there appears to be surface marks on the keys. They don't seem to buff out that easy, even although I use a soft buffing wheel, one of the layered ones. I found that the easiest way to remove the imperfections is to work up to 800 -1200 grit paper. I think it was Ron Nossaman (sp) that suggested this. With the harder plastic, these marks could be buffed out. I think I have 7 more sets to go, then I will be on the lookout for a different top for my replacement jobs. John M. What is the preferred method of removing overhang of keytop on sides? I usually use a file and sometimes a drum sander, but I'm looking for something more precise . Also, I noticed many fine scratches and imperfections in this set. I was very careful with them and I don't think I was the culprit.Anyone else seen the same? Schaff supplied.
