I used the term "cruelty to children" because these thick-skulled parents who force their children to play on these monstrosities need to be dealt with firmly. Besides, most parents will take it with a grain of salt if a piano technician says that they're guilty of cruelty to children, because they know that we know that it's an exaggeration in order to prove a point.
