SAMA

I've sent 12-15 pianos to SAMA over the past few years . Some had real
problems, including a rosewood Pleyel grand with bubbling, loose veneer. An
upright had no veneer on the lid. Both came out very nicely; I couldn't see
the repairs. They have always done a good refinishing job for me, especially
for the price. These are satin (4/0 steel wool) rubbed finishes. They will
do high gloss, but don't like to because of potential moving damage. The
satin is fairly easy to rub out packing marks from the mover. Occaisionally
a part gets lost, but they always seem to find it. Their restringing is also
good. The Pleyel had individually-looped strings, and they did an excellent
job. Plastic keytops also look good and hammers very straight, etc.
