Rib Press

I want something simple, lightweight and portable.  Another reason is that I
often work at night and the compressor noise bothers me.  I'd like to build
one out of aluminum if possible.  Actually, I figure I need three.

No I don't, sorry. But I am curious why you would want to aim for a screw 
type rather than the pneumatic?
