I know people who use it successfully, but I'll pass. I do save take-out Baldwin blocks for tooling and jig stock though. Like Falconwood, it's ideal for that, if not for use as pinblocks. This is only an opinion, subject to individual validation, or not. Sorry, that's not much help. Ron N
